Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED

New Heartsaver Total courses from the American Heart Association are designed for anyone withlittle or no medical trainingwho needs first aid and/or CPRtraining and a coursecompletion card for job,regulatory (e.g., OSHA), orother regulatory or licensingrequirements. Heartsavercourses can also be taken byanyone who wants to beprepared to act in anemergency at workorhome.

Heartsaver courses:

• Prepare students for the most common types of first aid emergencies
• Equip them with CPR skills for adults, children, and infants
• Allows for flexible delivery, all with the most relevant AHA science and information

Currently masks are optional inside all NCMC buildings.

Megan Mainland is an Adjunct Faculty member of North Central Michigan College that has been teaching CPR for 15 years. She currently monitors other instructors to assure their skills are up to date.
