Michigan Warblers

Their bright colors, vibrant songs and dazzling diversity make Warblers the rock stars of the birding world. Possibly the most beautiful and charismatic family of birds….Birders travel to the Great Lakes from all over the world to experience our Spring Warbler migration.  Learn the how, where and when to find and identify, by both sight and sound, the many warblers that nest or migrate through Michigan.

Jamie Platt is an alumni of Northern Michigan University where he graduated with a degree in Zoology. He has taught or lectured at Washtenaw Community College, Monroe County Community College, Schoolcraft College and the Ann Arbor Adult Education program. He is also the founder of Hell's Birders, a birding organization based in Ann Arbor.
