This program prepares you for an exciting and rewarding career! Start your career pathway with three in-demand healthcare certifications: Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician. You can earn these credentials in less than five months. Students will take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exams for CMA, EKG, and Phlebotomy.
A medical assistant is a multi-skilled allied healthcare professional that specializes in procedures commonly performed in the ambulatory healthcare setting. Medical assistants perform both clinical and administrative duties and assist a variety of providers including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They typically work in medical offices, clinics, urgent care centers and may work in general medicine or specialty practices.

This 25-week program includes:

• Medical Terminology - January 9 - February 17
• Phlebotomy - February 20 - March 10
• EKG - March 13 - Aprll 7
• Medical Assistant - April 10 - June 2
• In-person skills - Week of June 5
• Phlebotomy clinicals - Week of June 12
• Externship - June 19 - June 30
• Certification exams to be taken by June 30, 2023
