Have you ever wondered where the horses go when they leave Mackinac Island in the fall? Glen Young, a 40-year seasonal resident of the island, will show us. In his book, "Seasons of Mackinac", done in collaboration with photographer Jennifer Wohletz, he details the many changes from one season to the next and gives readers an inside look at a place that captures the heart as well as the imagination. Glen is director of the Bear River Literary Guild, co-director of the Top of the Mitt Writing Project, contributor to the Petoskey News-Review, and retired English teacher.
Attendance fee includes a buffet lunch beginning at 11:30 am.
