What is the deadly connection between deer hunting with lead bullets and bald eagles? How do you count migrating birds at the tip of the Upper Peninsula? Interlochen Public Radio’s Dan Wanschura and his award-winning team have focused on eagles, American woodcocks, rails and other birds that are so important to our region in their informative “Points North” podcasts. Dan will show how their work can capture our attention and hearts, and ultimately make us care about this region in a deeper manner. Participants are encouraged to listen to Points North podcast episodes at www.pointsnorthpodcast.org.

Your fee includes a buffet lunch beginning at 11:30 am, lecture begins at noon.
