Fast-Track Medical Assistant Bundle

Cost: $3,800 (Grant funding opportunities available with registration)

This program prepares you for an exciting and rewarding career! Start your career pathway with three in-demand healthcare certifications: Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician. You can earn these credentials in less than five months. Students will take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exams for CMA, EKG, and Phlebotomy.

A medical assistant is a multi-skilled allied healthcare professional that specializes in procedures commonly performed in the ambulatory healthcare setting. Medical assistants perform both clinical and administrative duties and assist a variety of providers including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. They typically work in medical offices, clinics, urgent care centers and may work in general medicine or specialty practices.

Requirements: You must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide the health/vaccination documentation listed here

This 20-week program includes:

• Online training and videos

• All textbooks and workbooks

• Assistance with grant opportunities to cover tuition

• Access to qualified instructors

• Certification fees for all three exams

• Three days of in-person skill testing

• Placement into an 80-hour externship program

• Assistance with job placement and networking opportunities

• Access to NCMC facilities and learning resources


Schedule

• Medical Assistant - July 13 - September 8

• Phlebotomy - September 9 - September 29

• Catch up week - September 30 - October 5

• EKG - October 7 - November 3

• Catch up week - November 4 - November 9

• In-person skills - November 4, 5, 6 (full days)

• Phlebotomy (1 week) and MA (2 week) externships beginning week of November 11. All vaccinations and drug test must be completed to begin.

• Certification exams to be taken by January 31, 2025
