Jr. Sleuth's Crime Lab
Welcome to the Jr. Sleuth’s Crime Lab! In this workshop, our young detectives will embark on an exciting journey to learn the art of solving crimes. Through a series of engaging activities, they will develop their problem-solving skills and learn how to analyze a crime scene, collect evidence, and conduct tests to crack the case. Throughout the class, they will be introduced to the scientific method and a range of crime analysis techniques. From sketching crime scenes to collecting evidence and mastering fingerprinting skills, our Jr. Sleuths will be fully immersed in the world of forensic science. Get ready to uncover the secrets of crime-solving and become a master detective!

I have been teaching hands-on science classes for over thirty years. My focus has always included problem-solving and application for the best experiences. During my teaching career, I have taught various subjects like forensic science, biology, anatomy and physiology, physics, and chemistry. I have also conducted summer science camps for over 20 years. Prior to teaching, I worked as a medical technologist and researcher at Dow Chemical. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, taking pictures, and participating in outdoor activities.
