This 6-week course is for guitarists seeking to expand on their core guitar knowledge by adding advanced chords and more complex finger style patterns, as well as pertinent scales for single-note melody playing and improvisation. By applying these acquired skills to familiar songs in a variety of genres, attendees will develop further knowledge of the fretboard, expand their known repertoire, and improve their ability to read music—both standard notation and tablature—enabling them to play with confidence in new settings and situations. Acoustic guitars are preferred, but electric guitars are welcome. Electric guitarists must provide their own amplifiers. There is a six student minimum and twelve student maximum for this course. Minimum 16 years of age.

Cancellations are non-refundable within 48 hours of this event.
