Babysitting Certification with CPR

The Babysitting Clinic is for youth who wish to learn how to become a responsible babysitter and learn more about child development, safety, first aid, CPR, and the business of babysitting. After the 4 sessions, you will go home with a CPR/First Aid Certification as well as Babysitting certificate. Megan Mainland will oversee the CPR training.
Note: This class will go until 1:00 PM on Thursday the 3rd to allow time to complete the CPR/First Aid Training.
Instructor: Katie Parr
Katie is a Michigan State University Extension program instructor focused on child and family development. Her primary office location is in Cheboygan County, and she provides programming in Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Montmorency, Otsego and Presque Isle counties. In this role, Katie trains virtually and in-person on topics for early childhood educators, caregivers, and parents, including topics on preparing children for school success in early childhood and social and emotional health in children. She also provides family education and support through in-person and statewide virtual parenting trainings and collaborative parent-child learning experiences.
