Sculpt and Shape

Unleash your creativity this summer! Kids will learn the basics of pottery and clay crafting in a hands-on, supportive environment. From shaping clay on the pottery wheel to hand-building unique sculptures, each child will create their own masterpieces to take home.

Our experienced instructor will guide students through various techniques, including molding, glazing, and painting, while fostering creativity and confidence. Perfect for young artists, this class promises to be messy, educational, and loads of fun!

Instructor: Stephen Stuchell, Art Adjunct Faculty, NCMC

Stephen Stuchell is a ceramic artist and educator  North Central Community College. He is a studio potter and owner of his own business “Stuchell Ceramics," designing and making fine, high-fired functional pottery.  His artwork is primarily sold through Facebook and local art fairs and markets.
