The fourth class meeting will take place in person at the Elder Piper Beer & Cider Brewery in Petoskey.

Eeva Redmond, co-founder and creative director of Petoskey's Elder Piper Beer & Cider, brings a wealth of brewing industry experience to this course. A certified Cicerone (Beer Sommelier) with experience as a trainer and beer educator at some of the country's largest craft breweries including Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Highland Brewing Company. Eeva began her craft beer career in 2015. She has served as a writer for Porch Drinking Magazine and a beer judge for the prestigious Great American Beer Festival. Eeva and her husband, award-winning brewer Trace Redmond, opened Elder Piper Beer & Cider in 2024. The brewery has already garnered local and national acclaim, including being named one of Hop Culture Magazine's "Top 17 Breweries to Watch in 2025."
