Move Calm, Feel Strong is a lively, interactive Tai Chi and Mindfulness class designed for 3rd-5th graders and 6th-8th graders. Through playful movement, imagination and hands-on activities, participants learn how to calm their minds, strengthen their bodies and build focus –all while having fun.

Tai Chi movements will be inspired by animals, nature, and storytelling, making the practice feel like a game rather than exercise. Mindfulness is taught in short breathing games, visualization and creative reflection that match participants' curiosity and energy levels.

The class will blend movement, imagination and awareness, helping participants develop skills such as self-regulation, confidence, balance and kindness toward themselves and others.

Over the course of the week, participants’ progress from learning basic calming and grounding skills, to practice focus and finally to build confidence and independence by creating their own mindful movement sequences.
