Jamie MacKenzie’s theater career took him from Petoskey Middle School’s 7th Grade production of “Twelve Angry Women” to “My Fair Lady” on Broadway with Richard Chamberlain. He was part of the national “My Fair Lady” tour that stopped in 23 cities across the U.S. He met celebrities Eartha Kitt, Blossom Dearie, Jim Bailey, Tyne Daly, Yo-Yo Ma, Albert Finney, Vanessa Redgrave, Christopher Reeve, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. He performed in seven plays, 84 musicals, and 27 cabaret shows. He learned countless scenes, played dozens of characters and memorized over a thousand songs. Jamie brings his dramatic journey to us in story, picture, and song.
A buffet lunch will be served around 11:30 am, lecture begins promptly at noon.
